Description

PG1190 – PEG POSS is a hybrid molecule with an inorganic silsesquioxane at the core and methoxylated polyethylene glycol groups attached at the corners of the cage. The rigid core in combination with PEG arms provides excellent dispersion and carrying of key ingredients (actives, pigments, carbons) which is useful in coating formulations.    PG1190 is also a wetting, leveling, and gloss additive.  PG1190 is also an effective plasticizer in acrylic resins.  As a lubricant or lubricant additive it provides high film strength to reduce friction and wear.
