Hybrid Names New Chief Executive Officer

Hybrid has named Marion “Buster” Blue as its new chief executive officer.

Blue has served as both Plant Manager and Facility & Production Manager since his arrival at Hybrid in 2004. In his previous posts, he oversaw $7 million in new capital improvements in the Hattiesburg, Mississippi plant.

Buster Blue said he looks forward to his new role, and the move represents a broader strategy for the chemical additive company.

“As we continue to build operational capacity and efficiency, Hybrid will focus on growing its long-term strategic partners in the United States and around the globe,” said Blue. “This realignment affords everyone on our team the opportunity to excel in their individual areas of expertise.”

Prior to his arrival at Hybrid Plastics, Blue served as the Facility Manager for M&D Distributors, working to align marketing, sales and production efforts at its seven Texas facilities.
